Beginner Class Schedule
2010
Beginner Knitting – Group Session $65 – 3 hours
Learn the basics and then pick materials to get started on your first project during this 3-hour workshop. Going forward, come into the shop during store hours to get help with your project. In this class we will learn how to: Knit, purl, cast on, and measure a gauge
Beginner Knitting – Private Lesson $65 – 1½ hours
Learn the basics and then get started on your first project with one-on-one instruction. In this class we will learn how to: Knit, purl, cast on, and measure a gauge
Please call to schedule a lesson time. Generally lessons are in the morning from 9:00-10:30 am or in the evening from 6:00-7:30 pm.
Beginner Crochet - $40
2 hours at times listed below or 1 hour scheduled privately
In this class, you will learn the basics of crochet and start a simple crochet project, such as a scarf, belt, or bag. Please call on a Friday to schedule a private lesson time with Maria.
Kid’s Beginner Knitting – Group Session $40 – 2 Hours
Kids age 7 and over can learn how to knit, purl (if time and their comfort level permits), and cast on. They will begin their own simple project at the end of the class and can come in during store hours to get help. Please schedule privately at this time.
Mom & Me Beginner Knitting – $80 (one parent and one child) – 2 hours
This class is a great bonding experience. Learn to knit with your child and you can share a hobby! Children up to age 14 can learn with their parent. We recommend our adult lessons for beginners age 14 and up. Please call or stop by to schedule a lesson.
Private Lessons - $40/hour
Have a lesson tailored to your specific needs. Please call or stop by to schedule a lesson.
Mixed Bag Classes
Instead of having classes with specific topics,
we will have weekly class hours where “anything goes”.
Bring any project and questions you have and you’ll get the guidance of an
expert for an hour and a half!
These classes are perfect for you if:

Tuesday: 10:00-11:30 am
Wednesday: 6:00-7:30 pm *
Thursday: 12:00-1:30 pm
Saturday: 10:00-11:30 am
*This class time will not interfere with the regular Wednesday Night open knitting
Mixed Bag Class Fee:
Drop-in: $10
Pre-payment: 5 sessions for $40 + 1 free session (that’s $6.66 a session!)
Payment for classes is required at time of registration to hold your spot.
If you need to cancel, you must call or e-mail at least 48 hours before the class time. At this time you may reschedule or take a store credit, which is good for six months. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class time will not qualify for a credit or rescheduling unless a replacement can be found. No refunds are given. No exceptions will be made.
We require a minimum of 2 people registered for a class to run the class. Class maximum is 6 for most classes. Private lessons in any technique are ½ the time of a group lesson for the same price.
Materials purchased during classes are not included in class price unless otherwise stated.
